Farmers Bank CEO Appointed to Special Council

William C. Marsh, Farmers National Bank of Emlenton chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer, was recently appointed to serve on the American Bankers Association’s Community Bankers Council (CBC) for the 2019-20 year.

The CBC identifies community bank priorities and represents community banking in the American Bankers Association policy-making process.

It  consists of community bank presidents and CEOs from across the nation, who focus on government-relation issues, banking trends and competitive priorities.

Marsh, a graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania, also sits on the advisory board of the university’s College of Business Administration.

Farmers National Bank Welcomes New Manager

SarahSarah Macbeth of Clarion has been promoted to branch manager of the Seneca location of Farmers National Bank located on Route 322.
Sarah is a Clarion University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and concentrations in marketing and management. She is involved in the Clarion Area Young Professionals group and hopes to join FLEX, Venango County’s Young Professionals group, too.
Sarah began working for Farmers in 2014 and was most recently a customer service representative before advancing to branch manager. Welcome Sarah!

Meet Slider and Vallies of Farmers National Bank

The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently announced that Amanda J. Slider has joined the organization as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer.

SliderIn this position, Amanda will be responsible for developing and expanding business relationships in the Seneca, Titusville, St. Marys and Ridgway markets.  She has over 14 years of banking and lending experience, with demonstrated knowledge in commercial financing, credit underwriting and account management.

Amanda currently serves on the Board of Directors for Hope 21 Ministries Advisory Council and formerly served on the Venango County Regional Planning Commission and Venango Catholic High School Boards.  Additionally, she is an active member of the Pennsylvania Economic Development Association (PEDA).

Amanda holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Albright College, and is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional with the National Development Council.

Also on the team at Farmers National Bank is Devon D. Vallies, who was recently promoted to Branch Manager of the Seneca Office.Vallies

In this position, Devon will oversee all daily operations, develop and maintain consumer and business relationships, and ensure the delivery of high quality customer service. He has been in the banking industry for over three years and with Farmers National Bank since 2016.  Devon is a recent graduate from the Bank’s Management Training Program and actively volunteers in Clarion and Venango County communities.

Devon holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resources and Management, from Clarion University.
