Senior Helpers of Warren is inviting communities in the regions they serve to share the love this Valentine’s Day through their Valentine’s Card Drive.

Schools, community groups, and local organizations are encouraged to create handmade cards with heartfelt messages to brighten the day of seniors who may feel lonely or isolated.
“For many seniors in and around Venango County, a simple card can mean the world,” said Jennifer Bliss of Senior Helpers. “It’s a reminder that someone cares and they are not forgotten. Your thoughtful message can help spread smiles and joy throughout your community and beyond this Valentine’s Day.”
Create Valentine’s Day cards with drawings, messages, and decorations.
“We encourage everyone to participate,” Bliss said. “Every card counts in making this Valentine’s Day extra special for our cherished seniors.”
Senior Helpers’ goal is to collect 300 cards to distribute to seniors in the community. If mailing directly to Senior Helpers, participants are asked to ensure cards arrive by February 7 so they can be delivered by staff during the week of Valentine’s Day.
Cards should be addressed to: Dear Senior, c/o Senior Helpers, 305 Market St, Warren, PA 16365 or can be dropped off at the Franklin or Oil City Libraries by February 8.
