New Leadership at U.S. Army Recruiting Station in Franklin

Staff Sergeant Brian Swantek has assumed the role of Station Commander at the U.S. Army Recruiting Station in Franklin, where he leads efforts to connect young men and women in Venango County and surrounding areas with career opportunities in the U.S. Army.

SSG Swantek brings a strong commitment to community involvement, previously leading Stop the Bleed first-aid training at local schools and participating in events such as the Oil Heritage Festival Touch-A-Truck, Wings N Wheels, Trunk or Treats, and Shop with a Hero. He has also been involved with Our Community Salutes, recognizing local students who choose to serve in the military.

“Getting out of the office and in front of people is one of my favorite aspects of my job,” Swantek said. “I wanted to be more than just a recruiter—I wanted to connect with the community and help guide the next generation of soldiers.”

His leadership and dedication make him well suited to lead recruiting efforts in Franklin.

Those interested in connecting with SSG Swantek can email brian.a.swantek.mil@army.mil or call (484) 318-1515.

Congratulations, SSG Swantek!
