Jake Davis, an Oil City native and partner at New York Life, joined the Venango Chamber Board of Directors at the end of last year.
Jake now lives in Sarver, PA, and works out of New York Life’s Pittsburgh office. In his work, Jake hires and develops entrepreneurial individuals who are interested in financial services. He says: “We help families, and business owners with protections, investment, and asset distribution planning.”
Though his work has moved him out of the county physically, Jake has stayed close to the region through his involvement in FLEX and volunteer work. He founded the Oil City vs. Cancer Basketball Game Fundraiser in 2019, which he hopes to continue in the future. He has also been involved with Butler Rotary and the Butler Young Professionals group.
In his free time, Jake enjoys spending time with his fiance e, Madeline, and their two dogs—as well as golfing, hiking, and kayaking.
When asked why he is excited about serving on the Chamber board, Jake said: “I believe in Susan’s vision for the Chamber and the community. And if I have any ability to help the community I grew up in, in any way, I’m excited about that. I’m always excited about growing my network and meeting fellow professionals in the area, as well.”
Welcome to the Board, Jake!
