LIFE Northwestern PA is making comprehensive care for seniors in Venango County easier than ever. The LIFE center in Oil City has been open for more than 2 years, but it was missing a few key components. Participants in the LIFE program had to travel outside of the county to Meadville or Clarion to receive clinical and therapy services. As of June 1, the Oil City location at 800 Grandview Road has a fully operational clinic and therapy gym.

We are excited to offer more convenient care to Venango County residents and fulfill our mission of keeping seniors Safe, Healthy, Connected, and At Home,” says Erin Tighe, LIFE Northwestern PA Marketing Coordinator. “We see our preventative care model working every day to cut down on falls and other preventable accidents that can send seniors into long-term hospital or rehab stays.”

LIFE offers alternative care options for people 55 and older who need help living independently. Some key services the program offers include medical care, prescription and OTC medications, medical equipment and supplies, transportation, therapy, and socialization at the adult day center.
