Venango Heart & Soul will host a series of Action Idea Summits this April, inviting residents to help shape the future of Venango County.

After more than a year of collecting community stories and identifying shared values, residents are now invited to help turn those insights into real, doable action. The summits will focus on five key themes: Outdoors and Nature, Community and Connection, Arts, Events and Culture, Local Business and Opportunity, and History and Community Spirit. This is an opportunity for residents to have a direct voice in what is protected, improved, and created in their community.

All three summits will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. and are free and open to the public, with food provided: April 14 at Log Cabin Restaurant in Seneca, April 20 at Christ Episcopal Church in Oil City, and April 29 at Trails to Ales II in Franklin.

Community members can also share ideas through an online survey at tinyurl.com/2026hands. Anyone who participates in April, will be entered into a drawing for a $100 local gift card.
