Hands-On Learning Returns to Venango

Each May, learning steps outside the classroom and into our communities through Remake Learning Days, a global festival of hands-on, curiosity-driven experiences for all ages. From May 1–23, Northwestern Pennsylvania will host free events designed to spark creativity through science, art, technology, and exploration, and Venango County is proudly part of it.

Each May, learning steps outside the classroom and into our communities through Remake Learning Days, a global festival of hands-on, curiosity-driven experiences for all ages. From May 1–23, Northwestern Pennsylvania will host free events designed to spark creativity through science, art, technology, and exploratio, and Venango County is proudly part of it.

Local Chamber members are helping bring these experiences to life.

At the Venango Museum of Art, Science & Industry, Maker Night at the Museum invites families to build, create, and explore through interactive STEM activities. It’s a chance to experience the museum in a whole new way where curiosity leads the evening.

The Oil Region Library Association is hosting Hometown Bingo, a playful activity that turns the community into a learning adventure, encouraging participants to explore local places in a fun and engaging way.

Through Be Here Venango, Franklin in Focus: An Alphabet Adventure invites participants to discover letter shapes hidden throughout Franklin and capture them through photography blending creativity, exploration, and community storytelling into one shared experience.

These moments spark curiosity, build connections, and remind us that inspiration can happen in everyday places.

We encourage everyone to take part: attend an event, bring a friend, and try something new.

Because sometimes one small experience is all it takes to spark something bigger. Learn more at remakelearningdays.org
