Excellence Accounting Solutions (EAS) is excited to welcome Amanda Courson to the team as a part-time accountant. Amanda holds a degree in Accounting Administration and brings more than 25 years of experience in Research Administration, with a career spanning from budgeting to closeouts and everything in between.

She spent over 13 years at the University of Pittsburgh and another 11 at Carnegie Mellon University, where she most recently served as a Business Analyst. In that role, Amanda helped implement a university-wide proposal development and routing system, with a strong focus on training and building a custom budgeting tool.

Amanda recently chose to step into a part-time role so she can focus more of her time and energy on homeschooling her son, leading her church’s children’s ministry, and, in her own words, “attempting to raise chickens.”

EAS is thrilled to have Amanda on board. Her deep expertise, genuine heart for service, and easygoing personality make her a perfect fit for the team.
