Education Update – July 2026

Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

The VenangoREADY program (and its extension ForestREADY) has worked with local school districts to actively prepare students in developing key workforce skills. Beginning in 2022, the VenangoREADY program graduated 27 students from a single school. Now in its fifth year, the program has graduated 64 students from six different schools, (CLA, Cranberry, Forest, Franklin, Oil City, and Titusville) growing our alumni network to over 300 students! Thank you to all of the educators and businesses who have helped these students in program efforts over the past year.

Special thank you to board members and chamber members for assisting in presenting certificates and cords:

Ann Richar – Richar Accounting Group; Kate Whitling – Schake Industries; Inde Hawkins – All Seasons Temporaries & Something Clever; Joe Nichols – Grand Valley Manufacturing, Co; Jen Feehan – Northwest Commission, Megan Sternagel – Classic Notary Service.

If your business is interested in being involved with workplace efforts for next school year, please contact Hannah at hplowman@venangochamber.org.
