Continuing Your Leadership Journey

The Chamber will soon begin the 4th year of Leadership Venango, a nine-month program designed to identify, educate, involve, and motivate individuals who desire to become more effective leaders. While inspired by programs across the country, our Chamber’s curriculum is planned by our staff, to serve the needs of our region. This demands that the Chamber staff continue their journey of leadership development.

Chamber President/CEO Susan Williams has been participating in a Master Class “The Power of Beliefs in Business” throughout the month of August. In this weekly virtual workshop, offered by ZingTrain, Susan and 24 others from across the globe have been exploring how beliefs alter what happens at work, how to build a more aligned and hopeful workplace, why the spirit of generosity is important and how to build a more rewarding and productive place to work.

Susan shares that the time shared with other businesses, discussing both challenges and opportunities, not only informs her leadership of the Chamber but provides insight on what member businesses may be experiencing. Susan and other class participants will be continuing to explore the aspects of organizational ecosystems and how to build healthy workplace culture, beyond the end of the class.
