Chamber Advocacy Committee to Meet in December

The Chamber’s Advocacy Committee has not met in some time and we are ready to revive this group, with the goal to influence public policy, laws, and budgets by using facts, relationships, the media, and messaging to educate government officials and the public.

In the past, this committee has convened meetings on transportation and blight and provided Chamber staff with input on governmental affairs activities. The direction of the committee will be set by the participants and align with the Chamber’s mission and strategic plan. The frequency and format of meetings will also be set at an initial meeting, expected to be held in December.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Susan Williams at swilliams@venangochamber.org or by calling (814) 676-8521.
