CATA recently welcomed two new Mobility Coordinators to its staff, Cheryl Faulk and Verna Stafford, who are based out of the Oil City office. CATA was recently selected to administer Venango County’s MATP (Medical Assistance Transportation Program), and Cheryl and Verna will oversee coordination of the program.

Cheryl is a lifelong Venango County resident who currently lives in Franklin. She brings more than a decade of experience, having worked for a drug and alcohol nonprofit organization for the past twelve years.
Verna, a resident of Meadville, also brings more than ten years of experience from her previous role as a Medical Records Director and Scheduler at a nursing home.
The Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) provides transportation to medical appointments for qualified individuals in Venango and Clarion counties who receive medical assistance. Cheryl and Verna verify eligibility and process applications for individuals seeking transportation services.
If an applicant is not eligible for MATP, they may still qualify for other CATA services, including Shared Ride, ADA, or PwD transportation programs. Individuals who do not qualify for those services will be referred to other agencies that may be able to assist them.
For questions about transportation programs or eligibility, please call the dedicated MATP line at (814) 813-1155.
