Building Connections for Summer Interns

Every summer, interns arrive in Venango County to gain experience, build connections, and explore career opportunities. For many, these internships help shape how they see a community and whether they can imagine building a future there. That is why creating meaningful experiences and strong professional connections matters.

This summer, the Venango Chamber is excited to host a Summer Internship Social designed to connect interns working throughout the region. The event will give interns the opportunity to meet other young professionals, build relationships, learn more about the community, and connect with programs like Be Here Venango and FLEX.

At the Venango Chamber, we believe in learning, teaching, and sharing lavishly. We believe businesses and communities become stronger, more innovative, and more successful when people invest in each other’s growth. Helping young adults build connections while they are here is one important way we can continue strengthening the future workforce and leadership pipeline of our region.

If your business or organization is hosting interns this summer, we want to hear from you! Helping us understand how many interns will be in the area allows us to better plan opportunities for connection and community engagement.
