Bridge the Gap: Career Exploration at Remake Learning Days

Local businesses and organizations are invited to help families make meaningful connections between classroom learning and future careers during Remake Learning Days, taking place May 1–23. This hands-on learning festival offers an ideal platform for workplace tours, “meet the professional” sessions, and interactive skill demonstrations that highlight local industries and career pathways.

By hosting an event, organizations can engage with students and families, raise awareness of their industry, and help inspire the future workforce.

Events can highlight existing programs, student projects, career opportunities, or summer learning experiences and may be designed for any age group. All events are free or low-cost for families. Hosts may also apply for a $500 mini-grant to help offset event expenses and keep programming accessible.

Businesses or organizations interested in hosting an event are encouraged to submit their event details online at remakelearningdays.org/event-hosts before the marketing deadline of February 23. Contact Kelsi Wilcox Boyles for more information or with questions at kboyles@riu6.org.
